This wedding film was built around Lucy and Anthony’s summer celebration in Alkham, Folkestone, with the church ceremony and Red Barn reception giving the day a clear Kentish setting. It focused on the move from a calm morning in Folkestone to the speeches, dancing and live music that carried the evening.
Morning
Lucy prepared at The Burlington Hotel in Folkestone before leaving for the church around lunchtime. The morning gave the film its quieter opening, with the bridal preparations set against the hotel before the day moved inland towards Alkham.
Ceremony
Anthony arrived at St Anthony’s Church in Alkham ahead of the ceremony, with Lucy following shortly before the 1pm service. The church formed the centre of the day, bringing everyone together before the celebrations continued on towards Capel-le-Ferne.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The reception took place at The Red Barn at Capel Farm House, with the wedding breakfast beginning in the afternoon. Speeches followed food, with the bride’s father, Anthony and the best men all speaking around the half moon top table.
Evening
The evening moved into cake cutting, followed by Lucy and Anthony’s first dance. Lucy also danced with her father, before the band and DJ carried the party on with live songs and a busy dance floor.
