Summer at Chilston Park Hotel gave Hannah and Alex’s wedding a relaxed August feel, with the day moving between the hotel rooms, ceremony spaces and evening celebrations all in one place. Hannah spent the morning in the Star Room with the bridal party, while Alex arrived ahead of the 2pm ceremony. It was a Chilston Park wedding built around family moments, speeches after the meal, and one carefully kept surprise for the evening.
Morning
The morning began at Chilston Park Hotel, where Hannah and the bridal party had stayed the night before. Bridal prep took place in the Star Room, giving the film a calm start before guests gathered elsewhere at the venue. With everyone already on site, the build-up stayed focused on the people in the room and the final moments before the ceremony.
Ceremony
Alex arrived at Chilston Park ahead of the ceremony, with guests gathering for the 2pm start. Hannah’s entrance brought the morning preparations into the main part of the day, with the ceremony keeping everything centred at the hotel. Filming it all in one venue meant the story could move cleanly from prep into the formal moments without losing the atmosphere of the place.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 4pm, with speeches following after the meal. Hannah’s father spoke first, followed by Alex and then the best man. Those speeches gave the film a strong run of reactions, laughter and familiar faces around the room.
Evening
After the meal and speeches, the evening had a surprise planned for Hannah: a vintage ice cream truck waiting outside for the guests. Alex led her out at around 7.30pm, keeping the reveal quiet until the moment arrived. The cake cutting followed in the evening, then the first dance at around 8.30pm, followed by a father and daughter dance.
