Sanchia and James were married in a traditional church ceremony at St John the Baptist Church in Harrietsham, before celebrating at Chilston Park Hotel in Maidstone.
Both got ready at Chilston Park Hotel during the morning, with preparations beginning early ahead of the ceremony. James arrived at the church at 11.00am to greet guests, with Sanchia arriving shortly before the 11.30am ceremony.
Following the church service, guests returned to Chilston Park Hotel for drinks before the wedding breakfast at 2.30pm.
Speeches took place after food at around 4.00pm, with words from Sanchia’s father, sister, best friend, James, James’s mother, and the best man – a mix of personal stories, humour, and heartfelt moments.
The evening celebrations began with the cake cutting at around 7.00pm, followed by the first dance at 7.45pm. A live band provided the evening entertainment as guests filled the dancefloor.
It was a well-paced and elegant Kent wedding day, combining a traditional church ceremony with the classic country house setting of Chilston Park.
