Cassie and Sarah brought proper personality to Knowle Country House for their autumn wedding film, with wellies by the lake, a tractor moment, sparklers, feather boas and a secret new name reveal all woven into the day. It was the kind of November celebration that gave us plenty to film, not because it was over-styled, but because it felt completely theirs.
Morning
Preparations were split across Knowle Country House, with Cassie getting ready with the bridesmaids and children while Sarah spent the morning separately with her mum. They had chosen not to see each other before the ceremony, so those final hours carried a real charge without needing anything staged.
Ceremony
The ceremony had one of the most distinctive entrances we have filmed. Cassie and Sarah came in from separate entrances, deliberately not looking at each other at first, before turning for that first look at the top of the aisle. After the flower girl and page boy made their way down, Cassie entered with her dad and Sarah with her mum, with live acoustic music giving the moment its shape.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
After the ceremony, everyone headed straight round to the lake for photos, wellies included, before outdoor group shots and confetti when the weather allowed. Speeches came before the meal, with Cassie’s father, a close friend and the brides themselves all speaking. Their wedding breakfast entrance was pure character, announced under their new shared name with sunglasses, feather boas and a lap around the tables to Absolutely Fabulous.
Evening
Before evening guests arrived, Cassie and Sarah made time for a sparkler shoot, which gave the film a proper shift into the evening. The cake cutting followed, then their first dance at 7pm, just the two of them on the floor. With the photo booth running in the summer house, the reception had that relaxed party feel without losing the detail that made the day so personal.
