Anna + Andy

21st October 2021Harty Estate

Anna and Andy’s wedding film at Harty Estate was built around the way the day moved between calm autumn preparations, a late afternoon ceremony and a reception that quickly found its own energy. With everything taking place at the estate, the film could stay close to the small changes in atmosphere, the quiet moments before the ceremony, the speeches, the music and the surprise waiting in the father and daughter dance.

Morning

The morning began at Harty Estate, with Anna getting ready from late morning and Andy arriving later in the day. Because the preparations and ceremony were all in one place, there was time to follow the build-up without pulling the story away from the venue itself.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place at Harty Estate in the late afternoon, giving the film a clear shift from preparation into the main part of the day. Andy was there ahead of Anna’s arrival, with the focus kept on the aisle, the vows and the reactions around them.

Speeches and Wedding Breakfast

After the ceremony, guests moved into canapes before the hog roast later in the evening. The speeches sat between the two, with Andy, the best man and the bride’s father all part of that section of the film.

Evening

The evening moved quickly from the cake cut into the first dance, with Anna and Andy dancing to Alicia Keys, If I Ain’t Got You. Straight after that came the father and daughter dance, which began slow before breaking into the Cha Cha Slide, a surprise only the bridesmaids knew was coming.
