Leann + Adam

6th September 2019Harty Estate

The outdoor ceremony was the anchor of Leann and Adam’s September wedding at Harty Estate, with the afternoon gathering around that 2pm moment by the marshes. It had the feel of an autumn wedding that stayed close to the place itself, with prep nearby, the ceremony and reception all centred on Harty, and the evening carrying on into music and dancing.

Morning

Leann got ready at Mocketts Farm Cottages, close enough to Harty Estate that the journey to the ceremony still felt part of the same landscape. Adam was due at the venue well ahead of the ceremony, giving time for guests to arrive and settle before Leann made her way over shortly before 2pm.

Ceremony

Their ceremony took place outside at Harty Estate, which gave the film a real sense of place without needing to force it. Leann’s arrival just before the ceremony kept everything focused on the aisle, the vows and those first reactions once they were standing together.

Speeches and Wedding Breakfast

The speeches came before the wedding breakfast, with Adam, the bride’s father and the best man expected to speak. Filming speeches before food always gives that part of the film a clear lift, with the room gathered, the nerves still fresh and the stories landing before everyone relaxes into dinner.

Evening

The evening moved into the cake cutting, live music and the first dance later on. By the time Leann and Adam stepped onto the dance floor, the film had moved naturally from the quiet prep nearby, through the outdoor ceremony, into a reception that felt properly settled at Harty Estate.
