Winters Barns kept the day close and connected, with bridal prep in the salon, Harry getting ready at the cottage, and the ceremony and reception all held on site. Lauren and Harry married there in March 2018, as spring was just beginning to show itself around the venue. The film had a clear shape to follow, from the quiet morning preparations through to speeches, cake cutting and the first dance.
Morning
Lauren spent the morning in the salon at Winters Barns, with preparations beginning at 8:30am. Harry was also at the venue, getting ready in the cottage before arriving for the ceremony at midday. Having both sides of the morning at Winters Barns gave the film a grounded sense of place without needing to move between locations.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at Winters Barns at 2pm. By then the morning had settled into the main part of the day, with Lauren and Harry coming together in the same setting that carried them into the reception. It gave the ceremony footage a natural connection to everything that followed.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 4:30pm, with speeches taking place afterwards at 6:30pm. Lauren’s sisters, the best men and Harry all spoke, giving that part of the film a strong mix of family voices and personal stories. It was the kind of sequence where the audio mattered just as much as the images.
Evening
The evening moved into the cake cutting at 8pm, followed by the first dance at 8:15pm. Lauren and Harry began the dancing together before Lauren shared a dance with her sisters. It gave the closing part of the film a personal final beat, rooted in the people closest to them.
