The Wedding of

Anna + Aaron

17 August 2016

It certainly isn’t every day that you get to film a wedding in the second largest conservatory in London. Home to more than 2000 species of trees and plants we were certainly in for a treat at the Barbican Conservatory for the wedding celebration of Anna and Aaron.

What a fantastic place! We arrived in the morning and although a little baffled to where we were headed, we eventually found our venue. As we entered the doors and stepped out into the conservatory it truly was one of the most interesting places. Warmed with the feeling of a tropical holiday amongst a fusion of greenery and gentle waterfalls equipped with both our Glidecams – we got straight to work.

Meeting Aaron and the family was lovely. They did a great job in adding the finishing touches of an aisle and centre pieces keeping well within the theme and posing the venue in its best way possible. All we needed now was our guests and a beautiful bride.

Without an inch of disappointment Anna and her bridal party were dressed gorgeously. The ceremony began and these two love birds were soon married.
The day ran so smoothly and the relaxed and warming atmosphere continued on throughout the day. It was a really pleasant wedding to film from start to finish and working alongside photographer Sean Weekly was a real pleasure.

There were so many things I enjoyed about this day. The cactus table gifts, the African steel drums and a little boy who walked around the entire day waving and ‘high-fiving’ people with the largest of grins. It truly was a special day and we were made to feel really at ease within this great bunch of people.

I would imagine a few people woke up with a sore head the morning after but all worth it, I’m sure. Thank you so much to both Anna and Aaron for having us. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and we wish you all the love and happiness together in your newly wedded lives together.
