Brooke & Adam

14th May 2022Goodnestone Park

Brooke and Adam were married in a traditional church ceremony at the Church of the Holy Cross in Goodnestone, before celebrating their reception at Goodnestone House.

Both stayed at Goodnestone House the night before the wedding, with Brooke and the bridal party getting ready inside the house while Adam and his family prepared on the top floor. The morning had a relaxed, intimate feel, with preparations taking place just a short walk from the church.

Adam arrived at the church at 1.00pm to greet guests, with Brooke arriving shortly before the 1.30pm ceremony.

Following the ceremony, guests returned to Goodnestone House for drinks and time in the gardens before the wedding breakfast at around 4.00pm.

Speeches took place after the main course, with words from Brooke’s father, Adam, and the Best Man, bringing together a mix of humour and heartfelt moments.

The evening celebrations began with the cake cutting at 8.00pm, followed by Brooke and Adam’s first dance and live band. Guests were invited to join the dancefloor during the chorus, with vodka jellies handed out as the night got underway.

It was a relaxed and personal Kent wedding day, combining a village church ceremony with the elegant country house setting of Goodnestone House.
