After Brydee and Grace’s weddings over the years, Alice & Chay’s day felt like completing a story we’ve been lucky enough to film from chapter to chapter. The final Allen wedding at Braxted Park – and what a finale it turned out to be.
A celebration full of laughs, live music, loud applause, heartfelt speeches and a room that just never stopped cheering. If the Allens know how to do one thing, it’s celebrate.
Morning at Braxted Park
By the time we arrived, the bridesmaids and Alice’s dad were already gathered together in a room, waiting for that special first look. When Alice walked in and they all turned around to see her, the emotion in the room was just magical. One of those moments where everything goes quiet for a second and you can feel how much she is loved.
Alice had added a little extra time in the morning so we could capture something special for Chay too. He had hired a bright orange Ferrari for his arrival, so after some bridal prep we headed outside to film him turning up in style, using both the drone and ground cameras to catch it all in true cinematic fashion.
The Ceremony
Under the beautiful architecture of Braxted Park, surrounded by friends and family, Alice & Chay made their promises to one another. Simple, honest vows spoken with shaking hands and proud smiles. There was laughter, there were nerves, there were rings that almost went missing (don’t worry – they made it).
And just like that, after all the planning, the speeches being written, the late-night organising and excitement…
They became Mr & Mrs Allen.
The Allens’ trilogy was complete.
Reception, Live Vocals & That Entrance
Let’s take a moment to appreciate Jamie Johnson, because a lot of weddings have music – but very few have a soundtrack. From softer moments to full, lively energy, he carried the day effortlessly.
During the meal, he transformed what most people call “the entrance” into a full-scale party moment – energetic, classy and loud in all the best ways. Guests were cheering, clapping, singing, and it set the tone for the kind of evening this was going to be: big laughs, big voices, and even bigger love for Alice & Chay.
Speeches that Deserve Their Own Film
Six speeches. Yes, six. And not one person held back.
From jokes about old wing mirrors and childhood pony drama, to beautifully emotional words from parents and friends, it was one of those rare moments where even videographers have to blink back a tear (purely for focus, of course).
We learned about:
- stolen plants (used to build gardens, not crimes)
- toe clicking, back tickles and tea rated out of ten
- a man ready to run out mid-toilet for love
- a love built on laughter, business and absolute loyalty
Proper storytelling. Unfiltered. Honest. And absolutely unforgettable.
Evening Party
When the lights dimmed and the first dance began, the room wrapped itself around them. Family, friends, hands in the air, voices echoing through the venue like a concert. It was loud, emotional, and full of that “no one leave yet” feeling.
Music, dancing and a packed dancefloor – the only fitting end to the final Allen wedding.
A Note from Talking Fly
Weddings like this don’t happen by accident. They’re made by people who love fiercely, speak loudly, and dance like there’s always one more song to play. Alice & Chay – thank you for trusting us with your story. And thank you to the Allens for letting us film the whole trilogy. What a ride.
