Claire and Dan’s October wedding at Winters Barns stayed close to the heart of the venue, with prep, ceremony and reception all taking place there. The film was built around the real movement of the day: Claire getting ready on site, Dan arriving with the groomsmen ready for the ceremony, and the barn carrying them through into speeches and the evening.
Morning
Claire began the morning at Winters Barns, with bridal prep starting around 8.30am. Dan and the groomsmen got ready off site, then arrived at the venue around midday already prepared for the ceremony.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at Winters Barns at 1pm. With Claire already at the venue and Dan arriving shortly beforehand, everything centred on that one setting before guests moved through into the reception.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 3.15pm, giving the afternoon a clear shape before the speeches. After food, the best man, Dan, the maid of honour and Claire’s father all spoke, with the speeches starting around 5.15pm.
Evening
The evening moved quickly into the main moments of the reception. Claire and Dan cut the cake at 6.45pm, then had their first dance at 7pm, keeping the focus simply on the two of them.
