There was a close, indoor autumn feel to Danielle and Rhys’s celebration, with November giving Knowle Country House a quieter, more intimate atmosphere. Their day moved between careful morning preparations, a 1pm ceremony and a reception shaped by speeches, music and family moments.
Morning
Danielle prepared at Knowle Country House, already in the setting where the ceremony and reception would follow later. Rhys spent the late morning getting ready at home, with time set aside for the final details on camera, the shirt, tie, shoes and those last few minutes before heading to the venue.
Ceremony
By midday, Rhys was at Knowle Country House ready for guests to gather before the ceremony. Danielle made her entrance downstairs for the 1pm ceremony, keeping everything centred in one place and giving the day a settled, personal feel.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began mid-afternoon, with the cake cutting woven into that part of the reception rather than held back for later. Speeches came between mains and dessert, giving Rhys, Danielle’s father and the best man their moment while everyone was still seated together.
Evening
Music carried through the reception, with singers performing during the meal and again later in the evening. Around 7:30pm, Danielle and Rhys took to the floor for their first dance, followed by a father and daughter dance that brought the evening into its next chapter.
