This wedding film was about holding onto the relaxed grandeur of David and Becky’s celebration, the way the occasion felt important without ever becoming formal or distant. There was real character in it, a calm confidence, plenty of warmth, and a strong sense of two people enjoying the celebration around them.
Hazlewood Castle gave the film its weight and texture, with a proper Yorkshire castle setting that carried history without taking over. Filmed in late August 2015, it had the last real warmth of summer in the air, which suited the scale of the place and the personal feel of David and Becky’s wedding.
