By early evening at Winters Barns, the speeches had moved the room from raised glasses to proper laughter, with Demi and Thomas right in the middle of it. Their December wedding had that close, indoor winter feel, with everyone gathered at the barn for a 2pm ceremony and a reception that carried on into music, cake and dancing.
Morning
We joined Demi and Thomas at Winters Barns around midday, with the December timings giving the day a clear winter shape. There was time to capture the venue settling before the ceremony, guests arriving, and the last details coming together before everyone took their seats.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place inside at Winters Barns at 2pm, keeping everything close and sheltered from the winter weather. Demi and Thomas had their vows in the barn surrounded by their guests, which gave the film a really intimate centre before the celebrations moved into the reception.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 4pm, with speeches saved until after the meal. The bride’s father spoke first, followed by Thomas and two best men, giving us a great run of reactions to film across the room as the evening properly got going.
Evening
After the speeches, the evening moved quickly into the cake cut at 7.15pm and the first dance at 7.45pm. With sax in the room and the dance floor open, the final part of the film had plenty of movement, noise and late-December celebration to close Demi and Thomas’s Winters Barns wedding.
