Emily + Jack

5th March 2023Westenhanger Castle

After the wedding breakfast, the speeches passed from Emily’s mother and sister to Jack, Emily and the best man, giving the room a very personal shape before the evening began. Their March wedding at Castle Westenhanger had the castle itself at the heart of it, with Emily and Jack wanting the architecture, interiors, romance and guest energy all properly captured.

Morning

By late morning, Castle Westenhanger was already where everything was happening. Emily had been at the venue since the morning, Jack arrived ahead of the ceremony, and the castle interiors gave us plenty to film around them without pulling attention away from the people.

Ceremony

Emily and Jack had an indoor ceremony at Castle Westenhanger at 1pm. The setting gave the ceremony a close, contained feel, with the focus kept on their vows, their reactions, and the guests gathered around them.

Speeches and Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast began in the afternoon, with speeches following afterwards. Emily’s mother and sister spoke first, followed by Jack, Emily and the best man, which gave the speeches a strong family thread and plenty of real reactions to film.

Evening

The evening moved quickly from the cake cutting into Emily and Jack’s first dance. There was no band listed, just the first dance itself, and after that the focus stayed on the guests enjoying the celebration and filling the room with movement.
