Frances and Nomsey’s spring wedding had a clear thread running through it: family, church, speeches and dancing all given proper space. Their April celebration moved from Edmonton to Micklefield Hall, with the reception bringing everyone out into the Hertfordshire countryside after the ceremony.
Morning
The morning began early in Edmonton, with Frances getting ready before leaving for the church shortly before the ceremony. Nomsey arrived at St Edmunds ahead of Frances, giving the service a calm, gathered feeling before she came in.
Ceremony
Frances and Nomsey had their ceremony at St Edmunds Church on Hertford Road in Edmonton. It was a proper church setting, with their guests around them as they made their promises before travelling on to Micklefield Hall for the reception.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
At Micklefield Hall, the wedding breakfast began in the afternoon, with speeches taking place during the meal. The bridal party, Frances and Nomsey all spoke, which gave the film a strong mix of voices from the people at the centre of the day.
Evening
The dancing started with Frances and her father before Frances and Nomsey had their first dance together. It gave the reception a personal close, with the focus staying firmly on family and the two of them.
