Hannah + Michael

21st October 2016Farnham Castle

Hannah and Michael kept their autumn wedding at Farnham Castle focused on the people closest to them, with a church ceremony, a proper sit-down meal, and speeches saved for after dinner. It was a day built around family, familiar places, and the kind of details that matter on film: arrivals, reactions, voices, and a dance floor that invited everyone in.

Morning

Hannah spent the morning getting ready before leaving for the ceremony just before half past twelve. Michael was already there ahead of time, giving us the chance to capture both sides of the morning without turning it into a rush.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place at 12:30, with Hannah arriving as planned and Michael waiting inside. Those few minutes before the entrance carried a lot of the emotion of the day, especially in the faces of the people watching them both.

Speeches and Wedding Breakfast

After the ceremony, the reception moved into the meal, with the wedding breakfast beginning at three o’clock. The speeches followed afterwards, led by Hannah’s brother, Michael, and the best man, giving the film a strong run of real voices and personal reactions.

Evening

The evening was shaped around the first dance, with two slow songs planned. Hannah and Michael took the floor first, then the second song opened it up to everyone, which gave the film a natural move from the formal parts of the day into the celebration.
