Jackie + Mark

21st September 2019Runneymede Hotel Windsor

September gave Jackie and Mark’s wedding at The Runnymede Hotel in Windsor an autumn feel, with the day kept close to the river and everything happening in one place. With prep, ceremony and reception all at the hotel, there was time for the film to settle into the setting without rushing between locations.

Morning

Jackie got ready at The Runnymede Hotel, already where she needed to be for the ceremony later that afternoon. That made the morning feel calm and practical, with the focus on final details, getting dressed and taking in the last quiet stretch before guests gathered.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place at the hotel at 2pm, with Mark already there ahead of Jackie’s entrance. Filming a wedding all under one roof meant we could stay close to the natural movement of the day, capturing the ceremony itself and the moments straight afterwards without breaking the flow.

Speeches and Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast was planned for around 3.30pm, keeping the afternoon moving neatly after the ceremony. Speeches came from close family and Mark, giving the film the kind of personal audio that always helps bring a wedding story back to the people in the room.

Evening

By the evening, the celebration shifted towards music, cake cutting and the first dance, planned for around 7.15 to 7.30pm. Jackie and Mark had mentioned the possibility of two slow dances, which gave us a gentle way to close the film around the dance floor and the atmosphere of the reception.
