A Wedding Journey: Kelsey & Ben at The Knowle Country House
Some weddings come together in a whirlwind, but Kelsey & Ben’s day was all about patience, perseverance, and finally getting to celebrate after a long and winding road. Their story is a reminder that love really does conquer all – even endless date changes.
From the first messages with Kelsey, it was clear how much this day meant to both her and Ben. Their wedding plans shifted several times over the years – moving from 2021 to 2023, then 2025, and finally settling on a magical twilight celebration in March 2025. Through every change, their excitement and positivity never faded.
Planning Through Every Twist and Turn
Throughout all the rescheduling, Kelsey and Ben stayed focused on what mattered most: celebrating with their nearest and dearest, and making sure their children, George and Poppy, were right at the heart of the day. They chose a relaxed twilight wedding at The Knowle Country House, with a 4pm outdoor ceremony (weather permitting), a laid-back buffet, and speeches before the evening fun kicked off.
We worked together to create a film package that suited them perfectly – a cinematic trailer, a full documentary edit, and plenty of footage of their little ones as page boy and flower girl. Kelsey was always quick to check in about the details, from music choices to delivery options, ensuring everything would be just right.
The Big Day Arrives
On 26th March 2025, the wait was finally over. Kelsey spent the morning getting ready at The Knowle, while Ben arrived later with the kids in tow. The ceremony took place outdoors, just as they’d hoped, with family and friends gathered to witness their vows as the sun began to set.
The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful – no formal wedding breakfast, just a buffet and a chance for everyone to mingle. Speeches were delivered by the father of the bride, the groom, and the best man, and a live singer provided the soundtrack for their evening. Their kids, George and Poppy, stole the show more than once (as requested, we made sure to capture plenty of those moments on film!).
Reliving the Memories
After so many months – and years – of planning, Kelsey and Ben were finally able to sit back and enjoy their wedding film. Their kind words meant the world to us:
