The father-daughter dance gave the evening one of its quieter pauses, a small moment in a busy room that said a lot without needing much fuss. Kiera and Daniel’s September wedding moved from Tunbridge Wells prep to a church ceremony in Penshurst, before everyone gathered at Penshurst Place for the autumn reception. It had the feel of a day planned with care, but still relaxed enough for the real moments to breathe.
Morning
We began the morning at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells, where prep had that steady, getting-ready energy before everyone set off for Penshurst. Daniel left first for the church, with Kiera following a little later, giving us time to catch the final details before the day shifted into the ceremony.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at St John the Baptist Church in Penshurst, with guests gathering inside for a traditional church service. Daniel was there ahead of Kiera’s arrival, and that short wait before she came in gave the ceremony a clear sense of occasion without feeling overdone.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
After the wedding breakfast, the speeches brought plenty of variety, with the bride’s father, the best man, the groom, Kiera and the maid of honour all speaking. With a traditional top table and so many voices involved, it gave the film a lot of natural audio to work with, from the polished lines to the reactions around the room.
Evening
The evening moved from the cake cutting into the first dance, keeping the pace of the reception flowing without feeling rushed. Kiera and Daniel’s first dance led into the father-daughter dance, which added a more personal beat to the party before the celebrations carried on.
