Maria + Neil

10th August 2018The Orangery

August gave Maria and Neil’s wedding at The Orangery that late-summer feel, with the venue carrying the day without needing much fuss around it. Everything stayed in one place at Turkey Mill, so the film could move naturally from the last moments of prep into the ceremony and reception.

Morning

Maria got ready at The Orangery, with coverage picking up the final part of bridal prep before the ceremony. Those last details mattered, the dress, the finishing touches, and the quiet pause before everyone headed into the main part of the day.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place at The Orangery at 2pm. With prep, ceremony and reception all at the same venue, Maria and Neil’s film kept a clear thread through the day, moving straight from the morning into the moment they made everything official.

Speeches and Wedding Breakfast

Maria and Neil chose not to have formal speeches, which gave the reception a different shape to many wedding days. The focus stayed on time together at The Orangery, with the meal and celebrations carrying on without that scheduled pause for speakers.

Evening

By the evening, the celebration moved towards the cake cutting at 8pm, followed by the first dance. It gave the film a clear closing chapter, with the formal moments of the evening sitting neatly at the end of the coverage.
