Knowle Country House kept this November wedding close together, with preparations, ceremony, reception and evening celebrations all in one place. Rachel had stayed at the venue the night before, so the morning carried straight into the ceremony without any travel in between. Morning
Rachel’s preparations began at Knowle Country House late in the morning, giving time to capture the final details before the ceremony. David arrived at the venue ahead of the service, so both sides of the morning were rooted in the same setting. Ceremony
The ceremony took place at Knowle Country House at 1pm. With Rachel already at the venue and David arriving earlier in the day, the service sat naturally at the centre of the afternoon. It was a straightforward, personal part of the film, built around the vows and the people closest to them.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The speeches came before the wedding breakfast, beginning with Rachel’s father, followed by David and the best man. Placing them before food gave that part of the day its own clear space, with the room settled and everyone listening in. The wedding breakfast followed at 3.30pm, moving the celebration into the reception without rushing it.
Evening
The evening began with the cake cutting at 7pm, followed by the first dance at 7.30pm.
