Morning
Rebecca’s morning had a slightly different shape to the usual bridal preparations, with time kept back for a private family visit before heading to the church. That meant the film picked up at the ceremony, which suited the day well, keeping the focus on the moments Rebecca and Phillip most wanted captured.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at Christ Church in Gravesend, with Phillip arriving ahead of the service and Rebecca due just before the 12.30pm start. Their children were an important part of the day, and those small reactions, glances and family moments gave the ceremony film a lot of its character.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
After the reception at Chilston Park Hotel, the wedding breakfast led into speeches from the bride’s father, Phillip and the best men. It gave the film a chance to hold onto the people Rebecca and Phillip had named as priorities, especially parents, bridesmaids, close friends and the groom’s party.
Evening
The evening moved quickly from the cake cutting into the first dance, before the groom, best men and ushers brought out an Indian drum performance. It was a brilliant change of pace for the film, loud, personal and full of movement, and a fitting way to close the coverage.
