A crisp January feel ran through Sally and Chris’s wedding, with the day moving from a Chelmsford church ceremony to an evening reception at Leez Priory. It had the calm structure of a winter wedding, with family, speeches and the dance floor all given proper space.
Morning
The morning began separately, with Sally getting ready in Chelmsford while Chris had time at groom prep in Brentwood. We kept that part simple and natural, picking up the classic details and a few quiet moments before everyone headed towards the ceremony.
Ceremony
Sally and Chris were married at Our Lady Immaculate Church in Chelmsford, with Chris arriving ahead of the midday service and Sally following just before the ceremony began. The church setting gave the film a clear, traditional centre point before the celebrations continued on to Leez Priory.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
At Leez Priory, guests sat down for the wedding breakfast in the afternoon before speeches took place around the top table. The bride’s father, Chris, Sally and the two best men all spoke, giving the film plenty of real voices and reactions to carry the story of the day.
Evening
The evening moved into the cake cutting before Sally and Chris took to the floor for their first dance. That was followed by a dance with Sally and her father, giving the final part of the film a personal close before the night carried on around them.
