Sarah and Andy’s summer celebration at Winters Barns felt relaxed, close, and very much centred on the people around them. With everyone staying on site for the morning, ceremony, meal and evening, the barn setting gave the day a clear, easy flow without ever feeling rushed.
Morning
Sarah spent the morning at Winters Barns, with preparations beginning early enough for the place to come alive gradually before guests arrived. Andy reached the venue later in the morning, giving us time to capture both sides of the build-up before attention turned towards the outdoor ceremony space.
Ceremony
Their ceremony took place outside at Winters Barns in the August air, which suited the feel of the day. By the time Sarah made her entrance, the courtyard had that quiet focus you only get when everyone is fully present for the moment.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The speeches came before the wedding breakfast, with Andy and the best man both speaking before guests settled in for the meal. It gave the reception a natural lift early on, moving from the ceremony into laughter, reactions and those small looks across the room that are always worth keeping in a film.
Evening
As the evening began, Sarah and Andy cut the cake before heading straight into their first dance. It was a simple, honest shift into the party side of the celebration, with the barn changing from dining space to dance floor as guests gathered around them.
