Sarah and Daniel’s wedding film was built around the Trafalgar Tavern itself: the river, the balconies, the first-floor ceremony room, and the movement between getting ready, speeches and dancing. Filmed in November 2024, it kept the autumn Greenwich setting close without letting it take over from the people at the centre of it.
Morning
Sarah got ready upstairs at the Trafalgar Tavern, with the ceremony room and reception space just below. Daniel prepared nearby before making his way over to the venue ahead of the ceremony, giving the morning a clear split between two parts of Greenwich before everyone came together by the river.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place inside the Trafalgar Tavern at 2.00pm. With Sarah already at the venue and Daniel arriving earlier in the afternoon, the film had space to follow the final build-up before they met in the ceremony room.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 4.30pm, with speeches placed between courses rather than held back until later. Sarah’s father, Daniel and the best man each spoke, giving that part of the film a strong run of voices and reactions around the room.
Evening
As the evening began, Sarah and Daniel cut the cake before moving into their first dance at 7.30pm. The band then carried the reception on, keeping the focus on the first-floor space at the Trafalgar Tavern as the celebration shifted into the night.
