Their wedding film set out to stay close to the real shape of Hannah and Thomas’s celebration at Chicheley Hall, with the on-site ceremony, meal, speeches and evening all held in one spring setting. Filmed in May 2024, it kept the focus on the details that gave the day its character, Thomas already at the venue in the morning, Hannah arriving just before the ceremony, and everyone staying together at Chicheley Hall as the celebrations moved on.
Morning
There was no separate prep coverage to pull the story away from the venue. Thomas was already at Chicheley Hall during the morning, while Hannah travelled in for the ceremony, which gave the film a clean, venue-led opening rather than a split between different locations.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place indoors at Chicheley Hall, with Hannah arriving shortly before the 1pm start. Because the church and reception were both on site, the film could stay rooted in one place and follow the guests naturally as the ceremony moved into the reception.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began in the afternoon, with speeches following after the meal. The bride’s father, Thomas and the best man all formed part of that part of the film, giving the edit a clear run of voices and reactions after everyone had settled into the reception.
Evening
By 7pm, the evening moved into the cake cutting and first dance. There were no extra choreographed details to overcomplicate it, just Hannah and Thomas taking that first dance before the band carried the celebration further into the night.
