There was a clear winter cosiness to Bryony and Daniel’s celebration, with everyone gathered in one place at Cooling Castle Barn and the day moving naturally around the barn, the bridal suite and the main reception space. February gave the wedding that tucked-in feeling you only really get at this time of year, with guests settling in early and staying close as the celebrations built through the afternoon.
Morning
Bryony spent the morning getting ready in the bridal suite at Cooling Castle Barn, which meant there was no rushing between locations before the ceremony. Daniel was also on site later in the morning, so the build-up had a calm, contained feel, with both sides of the wedding party already close to where everything would happen.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at Cooling Castle Barn at 1pm, with Bryony already at the venue and Daniel waiting nearby. Having everyone on site gave the start of the day a very natural flow, with the focus staying on the ceremony itself rather than travel or timing.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
After the ceremony, guests moved into the reception at Cooling Castle Barn for the wedding breakfast in the afternoon. The speeches came after the meal, with the bride’s father, Daniel and the best men all speaking, giving us plenty of real reactions, laughter and personal moments to work into the film.
Evening
The evening moved quickly after the meal, with the cake cutting planned for around 5:30 and the first dance at 7pm. By then the barn had shifted from formal celebration into a proper evening party, with Bryony and Daniel surrounded by the people who had been with them through every part of the day.
