Just before 11pm, the final song at Cooling Castle Barn came with snow falling across the dance floor. It was a proper winter finish for Deborah and Joe’s December wedding, and it gave the evening a clear last scene to close the film on.
Morning
The morning began at Cooling Castle Barn, with Deborah getting ready at the venue from around 9am. By early afternoon, both Deborah and Joe were ready in the same place, which kept the build-up close to the ceremony room rather than split across different locations.
Ceremony
Their ceremony took place at Cooling Castle Barn at 2pm. With Joe already at the venue and Deborah ready nearby, the day moved into the ceremony without a long journey or change of setting.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 4.30pm, with the speeches following after the meal. The bride’s father, Joe, Deborah and the best man all spoke, giving the film a strong run of voices from the people closest to the day.

After dinner, the cake cutting led into the evening celebrations before the first dance at 8pm. The DJ brought guests onto the dance floor for the second song, and the night finished just before 11pm with the snow machine during the last track.
