Emmie and Megan’s March 2024 celebration at Cooling Castle Barn was centred on family, time together, and a steady flow through the day. Morning
Emmie began getting ready in the bridal suite from 8am, giving the morning plenty of time before the ceremony. Megan prepared later in the master suite, starting around 12:30pm, so the film could follow both sides of the build-up without rushing the story.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place indoors at Cooling Castle Barn at 2pm. With everyone gathered at the same venue for the reception afterwards, the day moved naturally from the vows into the celebrations without a change of location.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 4:30pm, with speeches following once everyone had eaten. Both fathers and Megan’s stepfather spoke, giving this part of the film a strong family thread and a clear place in the story of the day.
Evening
The cake cutting took place around the early evening before attention moved towards the first dance. At around 8pm, Emmie and Megan took to the floor together, closing the formal parts of the day before the evening carried on with their guests.
