Their puppy carrying the rings gave Paige and Jake’s ceremony a detail that felt completely their own. At Cooling Castle Barn in August 2024, their summer wedding moved between prep at the venue, an outdoor ceremony, speeches, a surprise performance and an evening first dance.
Morning
Paige and Jake both got ready at Cooling Castle Barn, which kept the morning centred around the venue before guests arrived. Paige was there early, with the day building steadily towards the 2pm ceremony, while Jake arrived later in the morning ready for everything ahead.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place outside at Cooling Castle Barn. One of the standout moments was their puppy delivering the rings, a small detail that brought real character to the ceremony without needing anything overdone.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast began at 4.30pm, with speeches placed between starters and mains. Paige’s father, Jake and the best man all spoke, giving the reception a clear pause for stories, thanks and a few reactions around the room. As desserts were served, secret singers surprised everyone and shifted the energy in the room.
Evening
The evening moved into cake cutting at 7.30pm before Paige and Jake had their first dance at 8pm. It was kept simple, just the two of them on the dance floor, closing the formal parts of the day before the celebrations carried on.
