At Cooling Castle Barn, the ancient flint gatehouse and rustic barn gave this early July celebration a calm, generous feel. Louise and James brought real ease to the day, and there was a clear joy around them from the first moments we filmed.
In midsummer, the venue was at its richest, with the old flint, timber and open barn spaces giving the film a strong Kent character. The long July day gave the celebration room to breathe, without needing anything forced or overdone.
