Charlotte and Luke’s spring wedding carried a clear family focus, with Orsett Hall at the centre of the morning plans and the evening reception. Their May 2018 day moved between preparations, a 1pm ceremony in Hutton, speeches around the meal, and dancing back at Orsett Hall.
Morning
The morning began with Luke at Orsett Hall before filming moved on to Charlotte’s preparations in Laindon. The schedule was tight, so the focus stayed on the final details, getting ready, and the last part of the build-up before leaving for the ceremony.
Ceremony
Charlotte and Luke’s ceremony took place at the Kingdom Hall in Hutton at 1pm. Luke arrived ahead of the ceremony, and Charlotte followed from bridal prep before everyone returned to Orsett Hall for the reception.
Speeches and Wedding Breakfast
The speeches were split around the wedding breakfast, which gave the reception a natural change of pace. Charlotte’s father spoke before the meal, with Luke and the best man speaking afterwards.
Evening
The evening centred around the cake cutting and first dance at Orsett Hall. Charlotte and Luke danced together first, followed straight after by Charlotte’s dance with her father.
